Rocky Creek Gems on ArtFire

And so it seems as tho I am playing catchup again! But, what fun playing catchup when you find neat little treasures like I did on Rocky Creek Gems, out of Elgin, Texas.
From Rocky Creek's bio:
"Rocky Creek Gems and Gifts is named for the little creek that runs through the 86 acres of our family property just outside La Grange, Texas.I have been making things for as long as I can remember. I'm not a "single-craft" person! I enjoy working with gemstones, beadwork, knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, embroidery--you name it! As a former middle school science teacher, I particularly love making use of unusual items. I am the author of two wildcrafting booklets available through Texas Parks"
I just love this beaded flash drive case - you can check it out here: http://www.artfire.com/modules.php?name=Shop&op=listing&product_id=155360
Or how about this "Strawberry Mint Crackle glass set - necklace, earrings, and bracelet! and as I was going back through her listings, I was thinking oh maybe I should do this one, or maybe this one------------ some pretty cool handmade jewelry there out of Elgin, Texas.

Dear Dragon Lady Chris,

My computer was broken for a long time. But now I am back. Gee, you are featuring a lot of cool people from Art Fire! And I love your butterfly ornaments, but sorry some of them broke. I am going through a blue period with my work. :)

Love, Jane

I will know better to buy some of the glass ornaments I bought - they are just too fragile to use. although I did have some good luck with same ones - seems to be something about the butterflies! Trying a 4th one - maybe it will survive!
