By cutting out the middle "men" people who sell on line can often sell their creations at some great prices. When you don't have to pay half a dozen people before it gets to the consumer, you can pass the savings on to the consumer. There are a number of people who also sell wholesale and so they will usually mark their items up a little bit more, but then there are those of us who don't sell wholesale and you can get some great deals.
